Why Doggie Caddie?

Well, first off, caddies are buddies for life. Caddies are helpers. Caddies are loyal and stick up for you when the going gets tough.

I loved dogs growing up and have lived with several dogs throughout my life, but I could sense something in Denver I didn’t like: the stress of work/life balance taking time away from outdoor adventures with our dogs, tons of dogs barking in their tiny backyards or inside their apartment buildings, and a lack of dog parks with trees(shade), vegetation, water to splash in, etc. Even the chore of driving to a dog park can be frustrating. Having come from Wisconsin, I was struck by the extra responsibility placed on dog owners in Denver. Now, I see an opportunity to solve some of my own work/life imbalances as well as relieve the burden of dog owners by adventuring locally with their dog.

My wife didn’t know she married a disc golfer. That’s a joke we share because probably 50% of my life now revolves around the game. I’ve truly been frisbee infected. You might be like my wife. Yes, attractive, silly, smart, and super caring, but also unbeknownst to the fact that a close loved one of yours has yet to find one of the most important aspects of their life. In this case, it may be a frisbee. We all know frisbees and dogs go well together. Disc golf exemplifies this. Seeing the disc fly and wanting to chase after it, sniffing for their favorite adventure toy hidden somewhere down the fairway, and taking in the sights, sounds, and smells of nature make this an activity your doggie dreams of.

Disc golf and dogs go hand in hand. I didn’t see it right away, but now I do. And it’s an endeavor I’m thrilled to bring you along for, and be YOUR caddie in life.
